Some of My Favorite Things

For the nine of us in America actually working today, I break my vow to only write about the non-profit sector, and offer up one of those cringe-inducing, self-serving lists of my favorite things on the internet today:

As a father, I love this site. Family-friendly reviews of movies, TV, games, etc., based on actual content, not ideology.

My favorite video of the year. Don't worry, it's very safe for work, assuming your boss doesn't hate slam-dunking Chinese guys.

This is one of the creepiest things I’ve ever seen. Moms and dads, just say no.

According to this site, there’s only one “Trent Stamp” and yes, I know, that’s already one too many.

My favorite sports blog has my three favorite characteristics: it's funny, smart, and packed with baseball.

I bought one of these this Christmas, and my wife acted exactly like the kids do in the cartoon when Charlie Brown shows up with it. And unlike the cartoon kids, she hasn't come around yet.

Two things I don’t understand, Nietzsche and the Family Circus, brought together for the greater good.

And with the exception of Charity Navigator, this site is still my favorite…although this one is not far behind.

Happy Holidays, one and all.

Your favourite video looks a lot like something from a Japanese TV show called Extreme Ironman or something similar. And I'm pretty sure it's Japanese. Still think it's pretty great though!
