The Worst Person Yet?

I've written many times in this blog about churches that have little or no fiscal controls. We've seen pastors take the money directly from the collection plate and use it on themselves more times than I care to remember. But I've never seen this. Here's a pastor in California who did a bit more than sell out his congregation. One day when they weren't looking, he literally sold their church.

Randall Ridic of Ripon, California sold the church to a condo developer (and no, of course he didn't own it). He needed the money so he could buy a new BMW. After he was caught, he pitched a book to publishers where he explained how he "fleeced his flock."
